Easter Sunday 2015

Two Sundays a year I get to watch Church on cable TV wearing my pajamas from the comfort of my living room armchair. Yesterday was the first of those two Sundays.

After the first session of General Conference, we went out to hide a million Easter eggs in the back and front yards. These are the days that are difficult to appreciate while you're in the moment but I'm pretty sure know I'll look back on them fondly. I hope.
The kids always have a ball hunting for eggs, even the "kids" that are now technically legal adults.

Once all the eggs were "found" the kids sorted their candy and counted up their money. Every single Easter there are eggs left unfound in the yard that the gardener ends up finding them all throughout the year.

After the hunt came the feast that we look forward to even more than Thanksgiving: Our family's Easter tradition is to have fish/seafood for our Easter feast (we don't practice Lenten fasts so we don't have a big traditional ham feast to break that Lenten fast). My mom's fish tacos and Mexican shrimp coctel are pretty legendary. The chocolate cake wasn't too bad either. It was all SCRUMPTIOUS!
Another Easter in the books. Loved spending time with ALLL the family. And now, it's time to get ready for the week! Looking forward a new RUN GROUP DATE on Monday night!
